Nick Gorka

City Council Candidate

Nick brings 15 years of experience as a finance and operations leader, including senior roles at Fortune 100 financial institutions and high-growth companies. Nick is known for translating complex financial data into clear, actionable strategies— skills he is committed to bringing to public service. Together, I’m confident we can build a city government that works for all of us, not just a few” said Gorka.

Kim Giddens

City Council Candidate

Kim’s executive experience has spanned multiple high-impact roles across well-known retail brands, like Anthropologie and Cole Hann. She's led large-scale businesses of $225M to $250M, managing more than 130 stores and thousands of employees across North America. "I’ve long felt that Hoboken leadership has been limited by insider politics, and for the first time in a while, I feel hopeful" said Giddens.

Shashi Khemlani

City Council Candidate

Shashi Khemlani is a seasoned professional in the travel and hospitality industry with over two decades of experience in sales strategy, business development, and financial analysis. Shashi has also provided consulting services to various organizations and startups. Khemlani values the community but is concerned about the city's sustainability and is running for city council alongside Dini (alongside Kim and Nick) to bring fresh perspectives aimed at making Hoboken more affordable and improving residents' quality of life.
